| In 1983, Wabash
Valley Steel builders was founded by John Nugent of Terre Haute Indiana,
where the initial focus of the company was to sell and erect Stran
Steel Buildings for Central Indiana and the Tri-state area. |
| Three short years later, Wabash Valley Steel
Builders merged with Ellis Building Systems, owned and operated by
Thomas A. Ellis, Tallapoosa, Georgia. The goal of this merger was
to offer additional products and services which would appeal to the
overall steel market consumer. This merger required a move from the
original 8000 square foot facility to a 53,000 square foot facility.
During this expansion, additional equipment was purchased and installed
to meet today's technological needs. Since then, an additional 105,000
square foot of building area has been acquired for future expansions
and endeavors. |
